Said was born in Qassabin, in Northern Syria and in 1954 graduated from the Syrian University in Damascus. In 1955 he was imprisoned for six months for being a member of the Syrian National Socialist Party. Following his release from prison in 1956, he settled in Lebanon. This article is a stub.
