They evolved without mouths, lending brainpower to telepathic communication, called thoughtspeak. They have two sets of eyes, one set firmly placed in their head, and another atop their head waving about on two versatile stalks. Born with innate optimism, their only natural weapon is the scythe-like blade on the end of their long, strong tails. Fervent lovers of the open air, the Andalites moved away from the cities they built into small, family-based 'scoops', where each individual unit helps to aid the overall society in one way or another.
