There are 236 housing units at an average density of 48.7/km² (126.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 75.43% White, 22.63% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.43% from other races, and 1.51% from two or more races. 1.94% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 203 households out of which 30.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.8% are married couples living together, 14.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.5% are non-families. 32.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
