Benedict is located at 47°49'50" North, 101°4'58" West (47.830522, -101.082700)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 53 people, 22 households, and 13 families residing in the city. The population density is 81.9/km² (210.7/mi²). There are 27 housing units at an average density of 41.7/km² (107.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 100% White.

There are 22 households out of which 27.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.1% are married couples living together, 4.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.4% are non-families. 27.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.41 and the average family size is 2.79.
