Bjarne Riis (born April 3, 1964) is a Danish cyclist; he won the Tour de France in 1996. Riis has been a professional cyclist since 1986, he won the Amstel Gold Race, in 1997; as well as stage wins in Tour de France and Giro d'Italia. His active career as a bike rider has stopped, he is now the General Manager of his own cycling team, Team CSC.
