Brightwood is an unincorporated tourist-oriented community within the Mt. Hood Corridor in Oregon, located between Wemme and Sandy just off of US 26.

The community traces its roots to at least the 1890s, when a post office called Salmon, named after the nearby Salmon River, was established. The post office was renamed Brightwood in 1910.
