Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index In telecommunication, a calling-party camp-on is a service feature that enables the system to complete an access attempt in spite of temporary unavailability of system transmission or switching facilities required to establish the requested access. Note: Systems that provide calling party camp-on monitor the system facilities until the necessary facilities become available, and then proceed to complete the requested access.
