Carency is a village of northern France, in départment of Pas-de-Calais (zone 62). It belongs to agglomeration of Lens-Liévin which gathers 36 communes, that is to say 250 000 inhabitants. Before the agglomeration, it used to be in the arondissement of ?.

History

François Faber, victorious of Tour de France in 1909 there died in the combat it May 9 1915.
