Carlisle Township is a township located in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 219.

Geography

United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 92.3 km² (35.6 mi²). 90.2 km² (34.8 mi²) of it is land and 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.27% water.

census of 2000, there are 219 people, 71 households, and 59 families residing in the township. The population density is 2.4/km² (6.3/mi²). There are 77 housing units at an average density of 0.9/km² (2.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 98.17% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.83% from two or more races. 1.37% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 71 households out of which 43.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.2% are married couples living together, 8.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 15.5% are non-families. 14.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.08 and the average family size is 3.43.
