census of 2000, there are 176 people, 73 households, and 48 families residing in the village. The population density is 453.0/km² (1,154.0/mi²). There are 86 housing units at an average density of 221.4/km² (563.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 97.16% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.14% from other races, and 1.70% from two or more races. 1.70% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 73 households out of which 28.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.6% are married couples living together, 15.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.2% are non-families. 27.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.41 and the average family size is 2.83.
