The simplest way to establish extra tricks is to establish tricks by driving out (or ruffing out for that matter) all higher cards in a suit. There are finesses, plays that gain from some favorable position of the opponent cards, by leading up to combinations of cards (e.g. the Ace and the Queen. The more complex the positions become, the more fascinating the possibilities. That is particulary true for techniques involving more than one suit.
