Curufin is a character in the fictional world of Tolkien

He was the fifth son of Fëanor and Nerdanel, most closely associated with another brother, Celegorm. Within all his brethen he was the closest to his father, no matter in face or in temper. Also, he was a master smith, like his father.

He fell in the Second Kinslaying, when the Sons of Fëanor attacked Doriath for the Silmarils. He was slain by Dior the Beautiful. Thingol's Heir, who was also slain by him.

His father name in Quenya is "Curufinwë", same as his father's, for he was his father's favourite and most alike. His mother name was "Atarinkë", "Little Father", also given because of his similarity with his sire.
