Detective Conan(名探偵コナン,Japanese Pronunciation: Mei Tantei Konan) is a detective manga and anime series by AOYAMA Gosho (青山 剛昌).
The anime version is produced by TMS ENTERTAINMENT,LTD.

Story
At the introduction of the story,we learn that a high school student Shinichi Kudou(工藤 新一) became a boy Conan Edogawa. Shinichi Kudou solved ploblems,he's been known a high school student detective, but until Murder on Roller Coaster. Shinichi Kudou went to Tropical Land(theme park) with Ran Mouri(毛利 蘭):his childhood friend. He encounterd a case that a roller coaster passenger was killed. He solved the case so that it so usual. On the return for home,he witnessed that Full Man of the Black threaten another man. Another man of Black awared him and knocked down Shinichi ,and gave Shinichi poison to stop his mouth. Luckily, the poison didn't kill him, but when he came to his senses, his body has shrunk to the size of boy.
According to Dr.Agasa(阿笠 博士)'s suggettion, Shinichi hid his origin to hide him ,lest the black men find out that he is alive. So he started living at home of Ran. When he was asked his name by Run, quickly he called himself Conan Edogawa with looking at books by Conan Doyle and Edogawa Ranpo out of the corner of his eye.
Ran's father,Kogorou Mouri(毛利 小五郎) is detective, but not capable. Conan always solves ploblems in place of Kogorou. But Conan just seems to be a boy, police don't follow Conan's reasons about problems. When Conan gives out his reason, put Kogorou to sleep with Clock type anesthesia gun,and gives out reason by Kogorou's voice with Bow tie type voice changer.
