Eda is a municipality in west central Sweden, in the county of Värmland. The municipality covers an area of 824.7 km². Of the total population of 8664, 4376 are male, and 4288 are female. The population density of the community is 11 inhabitants per km².

EDA also stands for Electronic Design Automation. This acronym is used to refer to the category of tools for designing and producing electronic systems from PCBs (printed circuit boards) to ICs (integrated circuits). This is sometimes refered to as ECAD (Electronic Computer Aided Design).
