Elderon is a village located in Marathon County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 189.

Geography

United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.0 km² (1.2 mi²). 2.9 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 4.31% water.

census of 2000, there are 189 people, 77 households, and 54 families residing in the village. The population density is 65.7/km² (170.8/mi²). There are 81 housing units at an average density of 28.2 persons/km² (73.2 persons/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.94% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.53% from other races, and 0.53% from two or more races. 4.76% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 77 households out of which 35.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.4% are married couples living together, 3.9% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 28.6% are non-families. 20.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.45 and the average family size is 2.91. In the village the population is spread out with 24.9% under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 14.3% who are 65 years of age or older.
