Emperor Bidatsu (敏達天皇) was the 30th imperial ruler of Japan. He was the second son of Emperor Kimme. During his rule, he sought to regain Mimana but failed. In domestic affairs, he allowed a tension between the Soga and the Mononobe regarding acceptace of Buddhism to Japan.
