Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Fantasy Metal is a sub-genre of Black Metal. Although some would call it basically Power Metal, there is a big difference. Power Metal doesn't have the Fantasy element Fantasy Metal has. This sub-genre often overlaps with Medieval Metal, except it mentions Fantasy elements such as: Dragonss, Dwarves, Hobbits, Unicorns and so on. The vocals of this genre are in some bands different than usual Black Metal vocals, basically singing in a normal voice.
