Free Teens describes itself as a "reality-based, abstinence-centered HIV/AIDS, STD, and pregnancy prevention program". It is used in 38 states and in more than 70 countries around the world and has been translated into 12 languages.

It was pioneered by Richard Panzer, a Unificationist based in New Jersey.

Like most abstinence-based sexual education programs, Free Teens carries a twin message to teens and young adults: sex before marriage is physically unhealthy and leads to emotional misery.
