Right before release of the record, Chris left to pursue Dashboard Confessional full time leaving Further Seems Forever singerless. Soon, Jason Gleason joined the group as their lead singer and they released their sophmore album, How to Start a Fire. Further Seems Forever continues to enjoy both mainstream and Christian success and will be embarking on the Tooth and Nail tour in the spring of 2003 with labelmates mewithoutYou, anberlin, and watashi wa among others.
