Gardner is a town located in Door County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,197.

The racial makeup of the town is 97.58% White, 0.25% African American, 1.42% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.58% from two or more races. 0.84% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 493 households out of which 28.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.5% are married couples living together, 4.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% are non-families. 22.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
