Gioconda Belli (born 1948) is an author and was part of a resistance movement called Sandinistas (FSLN). The FSLN fought the dictator Somoza who had to go into exile in 1975. In 1988 she became famous due to her book "The Inhabited Woman". Since 1990 she's been living in Managua and Los Angeles. Belli was born in Managua, Nicaragua.
