The school offers pre-school, primary, and secondary levels of education teaching in English, Filipino, and Mandarin-Chinese. History GCHS was founded in 1950 by American missionary Dr. Edwin G. Spahr and Chinese educator Mrs. Julia L. Tan. It was also made possible by the generous donation of Don Alfonso Sycip, who allowed the school to be built in his lot in San Miguel, Manila, and through Mr. George Dee Sekiat, president of the China Banking Corporation who gave a PhP9090,000 signature loan to Mrs. Julia L. Tan without collateral. The school building was completed on May 29. In 1966, the school was moved into its present location in Quezon City. This article is from Wikipedia.
