Green Bay is an arm of Lake Michigan. It is located on the south-west coast of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and the east coast of Wisconsin. Green Bay is some 120 miles long, with a width ranging from about 10 to 20 miles. At the head of the bay is the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin, where the Fox River enters the bay. The bay is navigable by large ships. The Green Bay also gave its name to the football team Green Bay Packers.
