Gun Crazy (also known as Deadly is the Female) is a 1949 film noir film about a couple who go on a cross-country killing spree. It stars Peggy Cummins, John Dall and Berry Kroeger.

The movie was written by MacKinlay Kantor and, in the credits, Millard Kaufman. In fact, though, Hollywood Blacklist member Dalton Trumbo was the real co-writer. It was directed by Joseph H. Lewis.

The film has been selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
