Harun was a prophet in the Quran. In the Bible he is known as Aaron.
Harun was the elder brother of Musa. Along with his brother, he was a prophet who was tasked by God with saving the Israelites from the tyrannical Pharoah. Harun was a gifted speaker, and would often speak for Musa who suffered from a speech-impediment. He was largely responsible with teaching the Israelites the way of worship as laid out in the Torah. He would die at Mount Hoor.
