Humber college occupies two campuses, usually referred to as North and Lakeshore. The college offers over 150 full-time diploma programs, over 200 certificate programs as well as over 1,000 courses in post-secondary education. The college sees over 12,000 full-time students, 28,000 part-time students and 5,000 employees from Canada and around the world per year. Lakeshore Campus Built during the late 1880’s, the cottage buildings served as a psychiatric hospital called the Mimico Asylum. When purchased by Humber college, the college vowed to keep the historical site in good condition. The campus now consists of a number of cottage buildings mixed with some modern buildings built in the 1970’s.
