The Id Kah mosque is located in Kashgar, Xinjiang, China.

It was built by Shakesimirzha in 1422 (although including earlier structures dating back to the eight century) and covers 16,800 square meters.

It was at the center of a sharp rise in tension between the muslim Uighurs and the ruling Han Chinese in Xinjiang in 2003, when the government decided to replace it with a motorway and a shopping mall.
