Indestructible is Rancid's 6th album. It was released on August 19, 2003.

Three years elapsed between the release of the band's previous album, Rancid (the Skull Album) and their recording of the album, which began around late 2002 or early 2003.

Before this album was released while Rancid took a break, the singer of the band Tim Armstrong was replaced for his current previous band the Transplants with drummer of Blink-182's Travis Barker. Also guitarist Lars Frederiksen was replaced too for his solo career called Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards.
