California

Interstate 105 in southern California, also known as the Glenn Anderson Freeway, is the newest interstate highway to be constructed in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Its primary purpose is to connect Interstate 5 to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Much of I-105 is actually built below ground as several L.A. suburbs did not want another above-ground freeway passing through their city limits.

The western terminus of I-105 is with Interstate 405 near LAX; the eastern terminus is with Interstate 605 in Norwalk. I-105 doesn't actually reach its parent route, Interstate 5, but comes close.

Oregon

Interstate 105 in Oregon is a short interstate spur route of Interstate 5 located between Eugene and Springfield. The western terminus of I-105 is at the interchange with the north-south Delta Highway (unnumbered freeway); the eastern terminus is with I-5 but the freeway continues east through Springfield as Oregon State Route 126 for several miles.
