The area is most diversified in terms of enthnic groups and languages as the commonly spoken language (Isoko) varies within a distance of one kilometers. This was popularly sang in a song composed by one of the indegen (Evi Edna Ogoli) when she sang "one kilometer is another language".

Major Towns

Isoko is divided into two major local Government areas: Isoko South (with Irri as Local Government Headquarters) and Isoko North (with Ozoro as Headqaurters).

Ozoro, Olleh, Okpe, Ofagbe, Uzere, Irri, Idheze, Uro, Orie, Utue, Emede, Emevor, Otor-Owhe, Iyede, Ivrogbo, Illuelogbo and others.
