Jęgerkorpset or Hunter Corps is the Danish Army's answer to the U.S. Army Special Forces, British 22nd SAS Regiment and other foreign Counter-Terrorist units.

The selection course to becoming a Jęgersoldat or Hunter Corps Soldier is extremely tough and is a combination of the U.S. Army Ranger and U.S. Army Special Forces selction course.

For a trooper to be accepted onto the selction course, every individual must complete a shortened Patruljekursus or a Patrol Course (see Hjemmevaernets Patruljer) of 8 days in length instead of the original 8 weeks.
