The nephew of former Chicago Cubs great Ryne Sandberg, Jared Sandberg is a third baseman for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. In 2002, the younger Sandberg showed potential to hit for power, hitting 18 home runs in 102 games with the Devil Rays.
