Jeremiah is a TV-series, loosely based on Belgian writer Hermann Huppen's comic strip of the same name.

It tells a post-apocalyptic story: a plague has killed all adults, leaving only children and teenagers. Fourteen years later, Jeremiah (Luke Perry) seeks the enigmatic "Valhalla Sector" and is accompanied by his friend Kurdy (Malcolm-Jamal Warner).

The series is written by J. Michael Straczynski (creator of Babylon 5) and Sam Egan.

Beside the names of the main characters, there is no other similarity between the comics and the series.
