He was raised in the Boston, Massachusetts area and achieved a degree of fame as a four-time state, and 1986 World Tae Kwon Do champion before pursuing a career in show business. Since 2001 he has been the host of NBCs, "Fear Factor," a degrading, yet captivating reality show that pits three males and three females against each other in dare devil stunts for a chance to win a prize of $50,000.
