Catharine Letitia Hoey, known as Kate Hoey (born June 21, 1946) is politician for the Labour Party in the United Kingdom. She has been member of Parliament for Vauxhall after a by-election in 1989.

She was Sports Minister in the Department of Culture, Media and Sport from 1998 to 2001, when she was sacked. Since then she has been happy to voice her opposition to the government on issues such as gun control, and fox hunting.
