Kendall County is a county located in the U.S. State of Illinois. As of 2000, the population is 54,544. Its county seat is Yorkville, Illinois6. This county is part of Chicagoland.

The racial makeup of the county is 92.88% White, 1.32% Black or African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.88% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 3.38% from other races, and 1.34% from two or more races. 7.49% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
