In the television animated series, The Simpsons, Bart Simpson is playing Scrabble with his family, and plays the word 'Kwyjibo'. Bart describes a Kwyjibo as:

"A big, dumb, balding North American ape. With no chin."

Referring to his father, Homer Simpson. He plays the word kwyjibo on a 'triple word score', and has also played all his letter tiles, and it has been calculated that he scored approximately 150 points from the word.

Kwyjibo was later used as an alias used by the writer of the Melissa worm.
