Lee Terry (born January 29 1962), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1999, representing the Second District of Nebraska. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, he attended the University of Nebraska and Creighton University, graduating with a degree in Law. He was a member of the Omaha City Council from 1991-1998, and served for two years as president of the city council. In the House, he is a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee.
