A Legislative Council be one of the following:
- The legislature of a colony, which may consist of either appointed or elected members or both,
- The legislature in some British Overseas Territories and in Hong Kong, which is now a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. See: Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
- The second chamber of a bicameral legislature in some countries, such as the Isle of Man, in all States of Australia except Queensland, and also New Zealand until 1951, when it was abolished.
