USA composer Lejaren Hiller (born Feb 23, 1924 in New York, NY; death Jan 26, 1994 in Buffalo, NY) founded the University of Illinois' Experimental Music Studio in the late '50s and collaborated on the first signifigant computer music composition, 1957's Illiac Suite, with Leonard Issacson.

He also collaborated with John Cage for HPSCHD and taught James Tenney.
