A Linux floppydistro is a mini-distribution that only uses 1 or max. 2 diskettes to contain all linux.
A Linux floppydistro must be a bootfloppy, but not all bootfloppy are floppydistros, because donīt contain an entire linux operating system and only jump to antoher device ( USB key, CD-ROM...). An example of simple bootfloppy is syslinux and an example of a Linux floppydistro is BasicLinux.
Some Linux floppydistros:
- BasicLinux: a floppy distro that works on minimal hardware (2 FD).
- muLinux: a distribution which fits on one floppy disk
- tomsrtbt: a one floppy distro for rescue and other purposes
- FDLinux
- DLX.
