Maariv (Hebrew evening) is a daily newspaper in Israel.

Maariv is owned by Yaakov Nimrodi and edited by Amnon Dankner.

In October 2003, Maariv made headlines in other papers by alleging that French president Jacques Chirac had blocked the EU from condemning Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad's allegedly anti-Semitic remarks at the OIC meeting in Putrajaya. The EU denied the allegation, while Chirac duly issued a press statement condemning Mahathir's remarks.
