Michael N. Castle (born 1939), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1992, representing Delaware. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he attended Hamilton College and Georgetown University Law School. Before entering the House, Castle served in both the Delaware State House of Representatives and the Delaware State Senate, in addition to having been Delaware's Deputy Attorney General, Lieutenant Governor and Governor (1985-1992). He has served in the House since 1992, and currently chairs the Subcommittee on Education Reform
