Michael K. Simpson (born September 8 1950), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1999, representing the 2nd District of Idaho. He was born in Burley, Idaho, was educated at Utah State University and the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and was a dentist, and a member of the Idaho House of Representatives (Speaker of the House 1993-1998) before entering the House.
