Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Mirko Filipović (September 10, 1974-) is a Croatian mixed martial artist, competing in various kickboxing tournaments (K-1, PRIDE). His nicknames include CroCop and Tiger. He became famous after knocking out Bob Sapp in just one round in 2003. In November 2003, Filipović fought for the Ultimate Fight Championship with the Brazilian fighter Minotaur but lost. A few weeks later, he ran as a non-party candidate on the Social Democratic Party list in parliamentary elections and attained a seat in the Croatian Parliament. This article is a stub.
