Munnar is a touristic area in the Idukki district, Kerala state, India. It is located at the confluence of the mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. During the British government's control of India, it served as a resort for the British.

The area is between 1600 and 1800 meters above sea level and typically stays between 22° and 38°C. Since Munnar is in the southern hemisphere, the tourist season is from August to March, their spring, summer, and fall.
