Tolkiens universe of Middle-earth He was the twenty-ninth king of Gondor and the son of Telumehtar and reigned from 1850 T.A. to 1856 T.A. In the sixth year of his brief reign a federation of Easterlings called the Wainriders overran Gondor's territories on the eastern bank of the Anduin. Narmacil marched to Rhovanion to fight the invaders but was utterly defeated and slain.
