The nearest town to Naseby is Market Harborough roughly 7 miles (11 km) to the northeast of the village. A famous battle of the English Civil War, the Battle of Naseby took place a few miles from the village in 1645. The site of this battle, Naseby Field, lies about 1.5 miles north of the village.
