Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NAS Whidbey) is a United States Navy air base located in two sections around Oak Harbor, Washington. The main base is located approximately three miles north of Ault Field. There are several Navy squadrons based there for use aboard ship or land; it has three runways. The other section of the base is called the Seaplane base. It is the primary location of the base Navy Exchange and DECA Commissary. It is also where most of the Navy-owned housing is located.
