Nemours Jean Baptiste (1918 - 1985) was a Haitian saxophonist, writer and band leader. He is credited with being the inventor of Compas, a style of Haitian music. The BBC describe him as Haiti's most influential band leader.

In the 1950s and 1960s he was a musical rival of Webert Sicot.
